“Until recently, it was very based on what I wanted to see for myself, but my art teacher in high school really pushed me to make a bigger message out of it. I think that’s something I will take with me, but it will be nice to switch back and forth between having a bigger message but also keeping things for myself.”

“Lately, a lot of it has been music based. I’ll listen to some of my favorite songs and try to picture them and draw them out… I try to focus on the emotional aspect of it and try to take details from the song… the composition usually comes later.”
