Elizabeth de wetter

Elizabeth Brooks de Wetter is a mixed-media artist from Snowmass Village, Colorado. Though not an art major, she spends most of her free time in the studio (her happy place). Elizabeth enjoys creating art that encourages the viewer to think about their own experiences of their bodies and how as adults, we can re-embody the qualities of youth including wonder, curiosity, and play. The “Maidens” series investigates the female form at different stages and questions how things we view as disposable might be repurposed into something unique and beautiful; and how “broken” pieces might be made whole.
